Pray, Connect, Grow — It’s All Happening This Week at HV
Last week at Hardin Valley Church

Welcome Allen & Sharon Underwood, our newest members of Hardin Valley Church!

Thankful for the Harmons beautifying our church campus

Every fall, our church opens its doors and parking lot to the neighborhood for a simple reason: Jesus told us to go and make disciples, and it’s hard to make disciples of people we’ve never met. A Fall Festival is a chance to welcome families in with candy and fun, and to show them the love of Christ in a way that’s friendly and unhurried. Scripture tells us to be hospitable and to let our light shine before others, and this is one day when we get to do exactly that. We aren’t competing with the world’s holiday. We’re offering a safe, joyful alternative where kids can just be kids and parents can meet neighbors who care about them.
We also know that a good event isn’t the goal by itself. Many people in our community have never set foot in a church, and a festival is often the easiest first step. Some will only come for the candy, but relationships start with a smile, a conversation, and a genuine welcome, and the Lord uses that. Our church family will pray for every family who comes, share the Gospel as opportunities open up, and invite guests to worship with us on Sunday. We plant the seed and trust God with the harvest, and we believe He is faithful to do it.

Join us this Sunday at 9:30 AM for Sunday School! We offer classes for all ages and stages, including children, teens, adults, and seniors. Grow in faith, fellowship, and understanding. Find your place in a group and feel right at home.
