Pray, Connect, Grow — It’s All Happening This Week at HV

Last week at Hardin Valley Church

So thankful for some of our campers testifying in the morning service about how God worked in their lives! Continue to pray for them!

Thankful for our ladies raising money to provide for one of the parenting meals for the Hope Resource Center. Thankful for our ladies helping these ladies to chose life for the babies!

The new unit for the auditorium was installed this week. If you want to help with this added expense. You can give to this project as you regularly give, just indicate HVAC on the memo line with the extra amount.

There is something fitting about a nation founded on the conviction that liberty is a gift from the Creator, not a grant from government. Our founders understood what Scripture had long declared — that man is made in the image of God and endowed by Him with unalienable rights. As we celebrate the birth of this nation on July 4th, we do so not with blind nationalism, but with grateful hearts for the freedoms we so often take for granted: the freedom to worship openly, to gather as the body of Christ without fear, and to proclaim the gospel from our pulpits and our porches alike. “Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty” (2 Corinthians 3:17), and we thank God that this nation, imperfect as it has always been, was built on the pursuit of that liberty.
But as we wave our flags and light our fireworks, let us remember that our deepest citizenship is not of this world. We are, first and always, citizens of a Kingdom that will outlast every empire and republic (Philippians 3:20). So this Independence Day, let us thank God for the privilege of living in a free land, pray earnestly for those who lead us, and recommit ourselves to being salt and light in a nation that desperately needs both. May our celebration be marked not just by patriotism, but by prayer — that America would once again turn her heart toward the God who has so graciously blessed her.

Join us this Sunday at 9:30 AM for Sunday School! We offer classes for all ages and stages, including children, teens, adults, and seniors. Grow in faith, fellowship, and understanding. Find your place in a group and feel right at home.
