Pray, Connect, Grow — It’s All Happening This Week at HV

The new unit for the auditorium was installed this week. If you want to help with this added expense. You can give to this project as you regularly give, just indicate HVAC on the memo line with the extra amount.

Because of your faithful support toward this year’s camp costs, our young people were able to attend without financial burden standing in their way. The Lord tells us in 2 Corinthians 9:7 that “every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver,” and your cheerful giving made a lasting difference in the lives of our campers. Thank you for investing in the next generation of believers in our church.

Now we ask you to join us in another vital work—prayer. Our campers made decisions this week that will shape the rest of their lives, whether it was accepting Christ as Savior, recommitting their hearts to Him, or surrendering to a call He has placed on their lives. Please pray that the seeds planted at camp will take deep root, that these young hearts will be protected from the enemy’s attempts to steal away what God has done, and that our church family will know how to walk alongside them as they grow in their newfound or renewed faith. As it says in 1 Corinthians 3:6, “I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase”—let us pray earnestly that He continues that good work in each one.
