🌟 Living for the Eternal 🌟
Colossians 3:2 says, “Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.” As believers, we are called to lift our hearts and minds beyond the temporary concerns of this world. It’s easy to become entangled in material pursuits, daily pressures, and worldly desires. But God’s Word reminds us that our true home is in heaven. When we set our affection on things above, our priorities change—we seek to honor Christ, serve others, and live in light of eternity.
Let’s remember that everything around us will one day pass away. Still, the spiritual investments we make will last forever. “While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.” (2 Corinthians 4:18)
May we faithfully pray, share the gospel, and love as Christ commands, keeping our eyes on the eternal reward. May our church be marked by a heavenly focus that testifies to the hope we have in Christ.
