🌞 Summer Encouragement from Pastor Rodney
Dear Church Family,
As the warm summer days roll in and routines shift with vacations, outdoor fun, and a little more relaxation, I want to lovingly remind us all to stay anchored in our faith. It’s easy during these months to let our spiritual habits slide, but our relationship with the Lord doesn’t take a break. The Bible encourages us to remain steady: “Be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord…” (1 Corinthians 15:58). Whether you’re traveling or enjoying time at home, keep God at the center of your daily walk.
Summer can also be an excellent opportunity to deepen your devotion to Jesus. Spend quiet moments in the Word, pray with your family, or find time to encourage someone in the faith. Remember the words of Psalm 119:105: “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.” Even in seasons of change, the Word of God remains our steadfast guide, faithful and unchanging.
Let’s encourage one another to not grow weary in well doing. The seeds we sow during this season will bear fruit in due time. As Galatians 6:9 reminds us: “And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” Keep showing up—for worship, for prayer, for fellowship. Your faithfulness matters more than you know, and the Lord sees every step.
