This week we welcome our missionary to Japan, Shannon Little. We are looking forward to a good update from her in our Sunday School hour and in the Worship service. Four simple reasons why Japan needs the Gospel
People are searching for meaning
In a society focused on success, many still wonder what life is really about. The gospel answers that question by showing that we’re created for a relationship with God, and that life has eternal value.
Many people feel alone
Even in busy cities, a lot of people in Japan feel isolated or lonely. The gospel brings a message that God loves each person deeply and offers real connection and hope.
Pressure and stress are everywhere
Life in Japan can be stressful—school, work, and social expectations are intense. The gospel gives peace that doesn’t depend on performance, helping people find rest and purpose beyond the pressure.
Most people don’t know about Jesus
Less than 1% of the population is Christian, so many Japanese people have never really heard about Jesus or the message of grace and forgiveness He brings.
