The Power of a Personal Invitation
I want to encourage you today about the power of a simple invitation. This Sunday at 10:30 AM, our service is more than a routine—it’s a chance for someone to encounter the living God. You never know what the Lord might do in a heart that’s been hurting, searching, or just waiting for someone to say, “Come sit with me.” Scripture reminds us, “Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled” (Luke 14:23). That’s not just a suggestion—it’s a calling.
When you invite a friend, a neighbor, or a family member, you’re opening a door to hope. You’re saying, “There’s room for you here.” We’re not asking people to be perfect—we’re inviting them to meet the One who is. The church isn’t a museum for saints; it’s a hospital for sinners. And every Sunday at 10:30, the gospel is preached, worship lifts our spirits, and fellowship strengthens our walk. As Proverbs says, “He that winneth souls is wise” (Proverbs 11:30). Your invitation could be the beginning of someone’s testimony.
So let’s be bold and loving this week. Think about who God has placed in your life. Pray for them. Reach out with kindness and confidence. Whether it’s a text, a phone call, or a quick chat after work, let them know they’re welcome. Let’s fill the pews with people who need Jesus—and let’s come expecting Him to move. I’ll see you Sunday at 10:30. Let’s make it a day of joy, worship, and new beginnings.
