Fellowship: It’s What We Need!
God has designed His people to live and grow together in fellowship. The early church was known for this—“And they continued stedfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers” (Acts 2:42). Fellowship is more than casual conversation; it’s sharing life together, encouraging one another in the Lord, and building up each other’s faith.
When we spend time together in fellowship, we remind each other that we are not walking this journey alone. “Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend” (Proverbs 27:17). Our conversations, prayers, and even our laughter together can strengthen us for the week ahead.
This Sunday, after the service, plan to hang around for a special time of fellowship over ice cream! It’s a simple way to enjoy each other’s company, welcome new friends, and encourage one another. Bring your smile, your appetite, and a heart ready to connect—because fellowship is not just what we need, it’s what God has called us to enjoy! 🍦
