Summer camp is more than just a time for fun and adventure—it’s a place where lives are changed. Away from the distractions of daily life, young hearts (and sponsors’ hearts) are open to hearing God’s voice and making decisions that shape their spiritual journey. Many have come to know Christ or renewed their commitment to Him during these special days of worship, teaching, and fellowship. As a church, let’s stand in prayer for each camper, asking the Lord to work in their hearts and guide their steps.
I encourage each of you to be faithful in praying for our young people as they head to camp on Monday. Ask God to soften hearts, bring clarity to their decisions, and give them a fresh encounter with His presence. And if you feel led, know that it’s not too late to help financially. Your generosity can help ease the burden for parents who want their children to experience this life-changing opportunity. Whether through prayer or giving, every act of faithfulness matters!
Proverbs 22:6 reminds us to Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it. Let’s be part of that training by supporting them in this journey, both in prayer and financially. May we give in love and pray in faith, trusting that God will do mighty things through this week of camp.
