Last Sunday was full of wonderful things!
We prayed for Jonathan and Chelsea as they get married this weekend.
We were able to give a gift to Brandon’s mom, Mrs. Lee, to help with her expenses.
We celebrated with Thomas as he quoted the books of the New Testament.
We honored our college graduate, Reilly Holloman, with a gift card and celebrated with cookies for everyone!
Pastor’s Reflection on Memorial Day
This Memorial Day, we pause to remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice is a powerful reminder of Jesus’ words in John 15:13, “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.”
As we honor those who served, we also lift up their families in prayer. May they feel God’s comfort and peace, as promised in Psalm 34:18, “The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.”
Let this day be more than a time of rest—let it be a moment to thank God for our freedoms, to remember the cost, and to live in a way that honors both Him and those who gave all.
