Christmas is not merely a season of lights and gifts. It is the celebration of God’s greatest gift, His Son, Jesus. True joy is not found in what we receive, but in the eternal hope given through Christ.
The angel’s announcement to the shepherds reminds us: “And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.” (Luke 2:10)
That joy is not fleeting—it is anchored in the Savior Himself. As the psalmist declares:
“Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.” (Psalm 16:11)
This Christmas, let us rejoice not only in the manger but in the promise of salvation. Joy is not dependent on circumstances. It comes from a relationship with Jesus. May we carry that joy into our homes, churches, and communities, shining as witnesses of the One who came to bring peace and everlasting gladness.
Join us this Sunday at 9:30 AM for Sunday School! We offer classes for all ages and stages, including children, teens, adults, and seniors. Grow in faith, fellowship, and understanding. Find your place in a group and feel right at home.
