Ladies’ Bible Study Lunch at Don Gallo

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. — Isaiah 9:6

And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. — Luke 2:10

Christmas is not merely a season of lights, gifts, and gatherings, it is the celebration of God’s greatest gift to mankind: His Son, Jesus Christ. Isaiah foretold His coming centuries before that holy night in Bethlehem, declaring Him to be our Wonderful Counsellor and Prince of Peace.

When the angels appeared to the shepherds, their message was clear: good tidings of great joy. That joy was not temporary or seasonal. It was eternal and rooted in the Savior who came to redeem us. True happiness is found not in what we receive under the tree, but in the One who was laid in a manger.

This Christmas, let your heart be filled with joy that cannot be shaken. Christ has come, and because of Him, we have peace with God and hope everlasting. Rejoice in the Lord, for He is the fulfillment of every promise and the source of every blessing
