Pray, Connect, Grow — It’s All Happening This Week at HV
This Week at Hardin Valley Church

Join us for at 10 AM for a special 35th Anniversary Sunday Celebration as we thank God for His blessings, provision, and faithfulness over the past 35 years.
We are looking forward to a meaningful day of worship, reflection, and celebration as we honor our church’s rich history and look forward with anticipation to what God has in store for the future.
Following the morning worship service, everyone is invited to stay for a catered fellowship meal as we enjoy food, friendship, and memories together. Whether you have been part of our church family for many years or are joining us for the first time, we would love for you to celebrate with us.
Come worship, celebrate, and rejoice with us as we mark this important milestone in the life of our church!

As we celebrate Anniversary Sunday, my heart is full. I cannot help but look around and think about all the people, prayers, memories, and moments the Lord has woven together to make us a church family. We have laughed together, cried together, prayed for one another, carried one another through hard seasons, and rejoiced together when God answered prayer. Some precious faces we love are no longer sitting in the seats, and we miss them, but we are grateful for the faith and love they poured into this church. Through every season, God has been faithful. Today we can truly say, “Hitherto hath the LORD helped us” (1 Samuel 7:12). I am thankful for where we have been, but even more than that, I am thankful for each of you who are here today. You are not simply people I pastor. You are people I love, and I thank God for the privilege of serving Him alongside you.
And while we cherish where we have been, I believe some of our best days can still be ahead of us. There are more people to love, more souls to reach, more children to teach, more prayers to pray, and more opportunities to be the hands and feet of Jesus in our community. We will never forget those who helped bring us this far, but we cannot live only in yesterday. Paul said, “I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 3:14). So today, let us look back with grateful hearts, look around and treasure the people God has given us right now, and look forward with faith. Whatever the future holds for our church, my prayer is that we will walk into it together, loving one another, standing faithfully on God’s Word, and never forgetting just how good God has been to us.
