We Must Invest in Our Youth

Youth events are a precious opportunity to build a strong foundation in Christ during the formative years of life. In a world full of shifting values, the Word of God remains our unchanging anchor. The Bible says, “Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth” (Ecclesiastes 12:1). It’s during youth that hearts are moldable, zeal is high, and spiritual habits can take deep root. Coming together weekly helps our young people grow in faith, fellowship, and obedience to the Lord.

These gatherings are not just social events—they are spiritual investments. God desires young men and women who are set apart for His service. “Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity” (1 Timothy 4:12). When youth meet to pray, study Scripture, and encourage one another, they are strengthened to stand boldly for Christ in their schools, homes, and communities.

As a church, let us pray fervently for our youth and support these meetings with our presence, encouragement, and example. The next generation needs to see faith lived out with sincerity and conviction. “Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word” (Psalm 119:9). May these youth gatherings be a place where hearts are stirred, lives are changed, and Christ is exalted.
