Thankful for those who served at Morningpointe last weekend

This is a service where parents make a heartfelt commitment to raise their families in a Christ-centered home — grounding them in God’s Word, prayer, and faith. Rooted in Ephesians 6:4, parents pledge to bring their child up in the “nurture and admonition of the Lord,” intentionally shaping their character, values, and spiritual foundation. A Season of Beginnings

It’s that time of year again. School’s almost out, graduations are happening everywhere you look, and summer is just around the corner. To every student who made it through this year, we are so proud of you. The God who walked with you through it: the hard tests, the long nights, the moments you weren’t sure you’d make it . . . He isn’t done with you yet. “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” (Jeremiah 29:11) In plain terms, He’s got good things planned for your life. You can count on that.

And for all of us heading into summer, enjoy it! Rest, laugh, make some memories with your people. But don’t let a looser schedule push God to the back burner. Keep showing up, keep reading your Bible, keep talking to Him. The same God who helped you through the school year doesn’t take summers off. “The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.” (Psalm 121:8) He’s with you at the beach, on the road trip, in the backyard with the kids, every single day.
