Praise the Lord for a Record Weekend! 52 Friday, 250 on Saturday, and 124 in Service on Easter Sunday! Thank you for praying, working, inviting, and serving! Now that Easter is past, the question before the believer is simple: what do we do with a risen Christ on Monday morning? The resurrection was never meant to be a once-a-year celebration, but a daily reality. The angel said, “He is not here: for he is risen, as he said” (Matthew 28:6). Because Jesus lives, our faith is not finished at the empty tomb; it begins there. The same power that raised Him from the dead is meant to shape our walk, our choices, and our witness long after Easter Sunday.
So what do we do now? We go, we grow, and we testify. Jesus told His disciples after the resurrection, “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations” (Matthew 28:19). Easter sends us back into the world with purpose. We live crucified lives and resurrected lives at the same time, remembering that “if ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above” (Colossians 3:1). Easter is over on the calendar, but it must never be over in the Christian’s heart. We serve a living Savior, and until He comes again, our calling is to live like the tomb is still empty because it is.
