Why Prayer Matters — And Why It’s Not Too Late to Join Us
Prayer is not just a spiritual discipline—it’s a lifeline. It’s how we draw near to the heart of God, seek His wisdom, and intercede for one another. Scripture reminds us, “The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much” (James 5:16). When we pray, we’re not speaking into the air—we’re speaking to a living, listening God.
Jesus Himself said, “Men ought always to pray, and not to faint” (Luke 18:1). In seasons of joy, sorrow, uncertainty, or revival, prayer keeps us anchored. It’s where burdens are lifted, and strength is renewed.
As a church, we’ve set aside 21 days to seek the Lord together. If you haven’t joined in yet, it’s not too late. You can click here to sign up for reminder text messages. God welcomes every heart that turns to Him. “Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not” (Jeremiah 33:3).
