Stay Faithful

With the change of seasons often comes changes in schedules. Vacations, family fun times, and needed breaks are all welcome interruptions to our normal routines. While we are grateful for the diversions, we must guard against the inclination to let spiritual matters become deprioritized.

Allow me to encourage you to ensure that summer scheduling does not turn into a spiritual slump.

Plan and prioritized daily quiet times in the Word and in prayer.
Use the extended hours of daylight to attend mid week preaching and prayer service.
Read that book on spiritual growth.
Be faithful in your giving, knowing the work of God continues throughout the year.
Make sure you are back in God’s house after times of travel and refreshing. Don’t let an absence turn into a habit.
Make plans with other folks in church to fellowship.

Join us this Sunday at 9:30 AM for Sunday School! We offer classes for all ages and stages, including children, teens, adults, and seniors. Grow in faith, fellowship, and understanding. Find your place in a group and feel right at home.
