A Word from Pastor Rodney

Easter is a joyful reminder that our hope is alive because Jesus is alive. The empty tomb is not just a story we remember once a year—it is the foundation of our faith every single day. The Bible says, “He is not here: for he is risen, as he said” (Matthew 28:6). Because He rose, our sins can be forgiven, our lives can be changed, and our future is secure. That is good news worth celebrating, and it is good news worth sharing.

As we approach Easter Sunday, it’s a perfect opportunity to invite the people God has already placed in our lives—friends, neighbors, and coworkers. Many people are more open to coming to church at Easter than at any other time of the year. Sometimes all it takes is a simple invitation. The Bible reminds us, “And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men” (Matthew 4:19). We don’t have to have all the answers—we just need a willing heart to reach out and let God do the work.

Let’s be intentional this season. Pray for a few specific people and ask the Lord to give you boldness and love as you invite them. You never know how God might use one invitation to change a life forever. Scripture says, “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations…” (Matthew 28:19). Easter is more than a date on the calendar—it’s a mission. Let’s celebrate the risen Savior by bringing others with us to hear the life-changing message of the gospel.
