You can choose your actions, but not your consequences.
Everyone who is not a Christ follower is a slave to sin (vs. 20)
This is your current condition, not a future one.
You know this because you are a law breaker.
You don't have a right standing before God.
Everyone who is not a Christ follower will receive the penalty for their sins. (vs. 21,23)
