Why Joy to the World?
Why should we be full of praise to God?
1. God has done wonderful things.
* Miraculous saving acts of God
* Wonderfull things which cause our hearts and minds to be filled with wonder
2. God has done this all by Himself
3. God has shown us what He is like
4. God is publicly putting right to the wrong and showing His righteousness to the nations.
5. God has been true to His promises.
6. God’s victory has been spreading to the whole world.
Believers ought to expect, want, desire and work for the nations to praise the Lord.
This psalm expresses the desire of the Old Testament saint that all the nations would come to participate in the joy of the Lord
God’s coming is the hope of the believer and the world.
